Europameisterschaft in Frankreich 2007 |

Dear Olli,
It is great to have the worlds in Germany next year. I can already
confirm two boats from Pornic there! I hope a lot more.
To let you know, this (Europeans 2007 ed.) is going to be a very well mediatised events by mean of press, images, and video. Major sponsors have been secured and will provide lots of animation with a race village right on the main
beach in Pornic. Those who like to be filmed and watch themselves won't
be disappointed. The event will be advertised beforehand in the nearest
big city (Nantes)and should also attract a lots of spectators. This
should make the after-sailing interesting and we sure will have some
chicks watching around the boats! Spectators boats will be setup among
them, the small ferry of Pornic has announced its participation so we
should have some cheering right on the water 18 footers-style.
Of course for those who chose to give up a bit of sleep, the nights in
june can be busy at the nearest night-club.
Pornic can also be an ideal spot for those looking for a family
holiday.
There are nice beaches for children and wifes and good places to rest
and eat.
Hope this will attract a lots of German sailors,
